MINISTRIES AT RHEMA WORD

PRAISE TEAM:   This ministry exalts God through song and musical instruments.

DANCE:               The Dance ministry exalts God through the gift of dancing.

MIME:                 This ministry is a combination of dance and dramatic visualization                             exalting God.

YOUTH:              This ministry seeks to help youth share their gifts, grow in life                                    skills, develop a positive self-image, overcome prejudices, develop                               respect for differences, serve those in need, and foster social change,                             develop personal spirituality and a prayer life, apply faith to daily                             living, integrate Christian values, participate in the Church, and                                 develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

 ***The youth ministry has a nursery, a children’s and teen’s division so that each age group is given the proper attention for Sunday service.***

HELPS:               This ministry greets worshippers, escort them to their seats and                                  makes every attempt to help them feel welcome and at ease. They                             maintain alertness for any emergency that may arise, by relieving                              the need or contacting the person or persons necessary to provide                               the proper assistance.

OUTREACH:       This ministry seeks to assist the local community outside of the                                  walls of the church and abroad with tangible needs such as                                         counseling, food and clothes give-aways. We also assist with                                       Thanksgiving and Christmas needs and supplies, as well as helping                             the lost come to salvation in Christ.

NEW MEMBERSHIP DISCIPLESHIP: This ministry assists new members to developing a personal and lifelong, obedient relationship with Jesus Christ as well as orientate them to the functionality of Rhema Word Ministries core values and beliefs.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER: This ministry consists of a team of believers that join together to intercede in prayer for the needs of the church body and the world. Intercessory prayer occurs fifteen minutes before each and every service.

H.I.M:                  (Home Improvement Ministry)

                            This ministry seeks to assist single mothers, the elderly and                                        members in need of home repairs, lawn maintenance as well as                                    maintaining and upkeeping the church.

DIETARY:          This ministry prepares and serves food for all the special occasions                              held at the church. They prepare and plan the meals for the annual                             Thanksgiving and Christmas outreach dinners as well as Pastoral                               Appreciation, Church anniversary and Easter carnival celebrations.

WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP: This ministry is a fellowship where the women of Rhema Word gather together to fellowship, talk, and pray with and for each other. This ministry helps women to become kingdom women through prayer walks, breakfast fellowships, aerobics and much more. They seek to speak life into the lives of all the ladies of Rhema Word Ministries (single mothers, single ladies, older women as well as married women).
